About The Job
Role Overview We are seeking three skilled and motivated Architects to join the ARC Team working on the Benghazi International Airport project. The role involves technical design coordination, documentation, and construction support with a focus on BIM workflows, submittals, and consultant/contractor liaison.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in design and/or construction projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM workflows.
- Proven ability in RFIs, material submittals, BOQs, shop drawing reviews, and take-offs.
- Experience in documentation control and data submission systems.
- Strong coordination skills with multi-disciplinary teams (MEP, Structural, ID).
- Fluent in English (technical writing & communication). Arabic is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Review and coordinate architectural drawings (IFC, shop drawings, as-built).
- Conduct shop drawing reviews to ensure compliance with IFC and specifications.
- Prepare and issue RFIs (Requests for Information) to consultants/contractors.
- Manage material submittals, follow through the approval process, and maintain records. Perform material take-offs and assist in BOQ (Bill of Quantities) preparation/verification.
- Use Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM software for drawing production, review, and coordination. Maintain documentation control including AMTS/DMS updates, archiving approvals, and consultant feedback.
- Coordinate architectural scope with MEP and structural disciplines to resolve design clashes. Check compliance of designs with international codes, airport regulations, ISO 21542, fire safety, and sustainability standards.
- Participate in design coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and suppliers. Support procurement and construction stages with technical inputs and clarifications. Assist in preparation of progress reports, design logs, and communication records.
