About The Job

Ensure the execution of mechanical works in projects with high quality and in compliance with approved drawings and technical specifications, while coordinating between the Technical Office and the Site to achieve integration across design, execution, and final handover phases.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of practical experience in mechanical works for buildings and public projects.
  • Background: Proven experience in both Site Supervision and Technical Office roles.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD MEP, Revit, Excel, and Word.
  • Codes & Standards: Knowledge of relevant international codes and specifications (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA).

Responsibilities:

  • Design & Shop Drawings: Review Shop Drawings and ensure their compliance with design drawings and technical specifications.
  • Site Supervision: Conduct on-site supervision of mechanical installations, including Water Supply, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Gas (if applicable), and HVAC systems.
  • Coordination: Coordinate effectively with other disciplines (Civil, Electrical, Finishing) to ensure work integration and resolve clashes on site.
  • Materials & BOQs: Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and manage Material Requests (MRs) and material approvals.
  • Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, documenting completed works and technical observations.
  • Testing & Handover: Monitor installation activities and oversee Testing & Commissioning procedures up to the final handover.
  • Tendering: Participate in cost estimation and the preparation of technical proposals for new projects.
  • Documentation: Prepare and update As-Built drawings upon completion of execution works.
  • Safety & Quality: Supervise the implementation of Quality Control (QC) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures on site.
  • Correspondence: Prepare technical correspondence and manage the submission and approval process for RFIs, Material Submittals, and Method Statements with the Consultant.
