About The Job

The Execution Road & Bridge Engineer is responsible for supervising and executing road and bridge construction works on site. The role ensures that all activities are performed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in road and bridge construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of road works, concrete works, and structural elements.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under site conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise execution of road works (earthworks, subgrade, subbase, base course, asphalt layers).
• Supervise bridge construction works (foundations, piles, piers, abutments, decks).
• Ensure construction complies with approved drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, surveyors, and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily and weekly reports.
• Ensure quality control and follow up on laboratory and field tests.
• Review method statements and shop drawings.
• Ensure site safety procedures are implemented.
• Resolve technical issues during execution.
• Assist in quantity take-offs, measurements, and payment certificates.
