Under the supervision and sponsorship of the National Development Agency, in cooperation with the leading Emirati company Global, which specializes in the construction and establishment of international airports, and with the active participation of Khalifa Holding Group through its national arm, EABR AL-ALAM for General Contracting, the first steps in the development of aviation infrastructure were taken in a unique precedent in the country's history.

Benghazi International Airport has become a reality thanks to the considerable skills and expertise of those involved, unleashing the construction of one of the largest international airports and the first of its kind in the region. This is a turning point that strengthens Libya's role in connecting continents and countries around the world and contributes to laying the foundations for a solid economy based on local expertise.
