Overview
In line with its social and humanitarian responsibility and in response to the aftermath of Hurricane Daniel on the city of Derna, Khalifa Holding Group participated with a large number of engineers, workers, and machinery in reviving the Korean Buildings project, paving the way for strengthening the housing sector after the widespread destruction that the city suffered. With an average of 12 residential buildings equipped with all amenities and basic services, ensuring a suitable environment for the city's residents, the group has completed all concrete work, with a completion rate exceeding 90 percent.
Number of buildings
To make this project a reality, the group faced many challenges, chief among them repairing concrete damage to columns, ceilings, and walls. However, it was able to overcome all obstacles, starting with maintenance and restoration work, including plumbing, electrical and plastering, and the installation of marble, ceramics, doors, and windows. Keen to provide a comfortable environment for residents, the group added soundproofing and thermal insulation to the walls to suit the climatic conditions, as well as furnishing all apartments with modern, high-end furniture. With modern designs, the project embodies a model that combines elegance and comfort, making it an ideal destination for the residents of the flourishing city of Derna.
