Overview
To drive the development and advancement of infrastructure in a sector that represents food security, which is the lifeblood of the economy, Khalifa Holding Group is constructing a seed silo project for grain storage on an area of 20,000 square meters through its two executive arms, Eabr Al-Alam for General Contracting and Real Estate Investment Company and ASCO Libya. Khalifa Holding Group is constructing a seed silo project for grain storage on behalf of Al-Ashibi Holding Group, comprising twenty silos and three warehouses, with surface foundations and pile foundations, with a total of 737 piles, each 27 meters deep and 1 square meter in diameter.

On the grounds of the Port of Benghazi, the group began its work by constructing steel silos with a circular shape and a maximum storage capacity of 1,000 tons, with a diameter of 1.3 meters and a height of 26.1 square meters. with walls 70 cm thick, reinforced by an outer wall approximately 50 cm thick, and mechanical fastenings comprising 90 anchors connecting the walls to the steel silo foundation, with the aim of resisting lifting forces, distributing loads, and increasing stability, as well as structural integration to ensure that it functions as a single unit. The project was implemented on schedule and in accordance with approved specifications and standards. The group worked with a workforce of 80 engineers, technicians, and workers, using 12 machines, contributing to the establishment of infrastructure in a key sector at a site that represents an artery for local and global trade.
